Grey Wolves 03:47
I haven't seen this side of you in pages like chapters we use to read when we were kids but you never use to be so violent i haven't seen you this way hours i thought this was a bridge we could pass but you were always at the bottom of our hourglass but oh i should have known we were always the same all of the grey wolves just trying not to be tamed months have passed since we saw the mountains and i thought id never see that sunset again and now all our ties are lost and we're seperate well we've finally come to realize that this simply is not effortless and it will continue on just like this

once upon a morning, the world tuned grey but it wasn't from the clouds it was just a different shade and once while i was mourning the death of color here i remembered all the hues and i began to fear that everything changes everything everything changes everything everything everywhere, everywhere always once while i was searching for the answers to my thoughts i found everything that we were not my friends i found innocence my dear i found beauty in waves that will wash over us when we see the day where everything changes everything everything changes everything everything everywhere, everywhere always always

November 3rd 03:57
Who will be the groom, who will be the bride in a stained glass room with you standing side by side hand in hand, name for name but is this just what happens when the comfort sets in who will be the groom and who would be your bride in a white wash church with you standing by her side unsure hand in your hand. your name for name but is this just what happens when the love starts to fade when the love starts to fade the blood rushes to your face when the love starts to fade you start to wonder who will take your place and who will make this toast raise their glass and read all the words i wrote and who will find, who could hope to find a love like yours in the rest of their lives but is this just what happens when you grow old cause when you grow old your hearts too heavy for your bones when you grow old but you were young and we will never know

we lit one up in a house made of leaves watched it burn, cried god how could this be and we searched the remains and found with disdain that, in the end, no it didnt mean a thing oh my god we're not a beacon we're just a fire to cast your dead in holding on to what's left of what we knew we found all the time in the world but it wasn't enough to replace the pearls that we threw to the pigs and dried up all our figs and as we starved did it even me a thing to you god we're not a beacon we're just a fire to cast your dead in holding on to what's left of what we knew we walked away from love when we said enough was enough we'll just suffer instead alone in the wake of all our mistakes is this how you felt and did i mean everything to you god did i mean everything to you god cause you were the meaning all along you meant everything to me

Fathers 05:34
our fathers' air is in our lungs their blood's in the stream and we stay stuck did you not see the harm you'd done in being you did you love the snow more than your son did you find hope but it just wasn't enough did you not see the harm you'd done in being you we are portraits hanging in the hall we are the aftermath of the fall we are just trying to find room in being your sons but not being you did you hear the words and they didn't help did you look at him and really not see yourself did you not see the harm you'd done in being you could you not have known the rest when you said here son just take whatever's left did you not see the harm you had done just by being you well you were just being you

Sons 04:00
there's a lock on the basement keep the bad things away there's a warm blanket in the closet to keep the monsters at bay and your mother held you tight you still cried all night cause when you fall asleep you feel them start to creep and there's a stonewall in the backyard it keeps my vision to the sky, as long as i don't ask why and there's six strings in my room to drown out the sound when no one's around but my father told me son just don't stay on the run you gotta fight your demons and then you gotta leave 'em and there's six strings in my room that you'll have some day to play your troubles away
